Algerian Archer

These fighters were armed with bows and arrows. Their bows possessed a high rate of fire - up to 12 shots per minute - but low range of fire and low killing power. Also a soldier's stamina influenced much the range and rate of fire. These savage warriors terrified an enemy by their brutality and rapidity. However, like in all irregular armies, the weak discipline made them very unstable in a battle.
